Fred Holley's lifted Thing

Fred's Thing chilling in the driveway. Under dash look showing both mounting points, wiring plugs, and inside universal joint.
Basically the same as shot #1, the hole through the fire wall was relocated 3 inches lower, to its original height, because of the lift kit. This brought the steering back to where it belonged. This picture shows the Universal joint at the steering box end.
This is a straight on view of the steering wheel. This picture shows the ignition and wiper/washer switch locations. This gave us 2 speed wipers and a conection for the electric washer unit mounted under the front.
