VW Accessory variable intermittent wiper switch

I won this switch on Ebay from a nice seller in Italy. It came in the original "Genuine Volkswagen Accessories" box with the instructions to boot. The box was a little worn but the switch is NOS and the instructions in excellent sape. I will get a scan of them up here soon. The description on the side of the box is as follows:

Adjusts the intervals between sweeps from 3 to 15 seconds. Automatic sweep when washer is used. Can be installed in place of existing switch without further wiring. Installation Instructions are enclosed.
