Tim Quinn – CEO & Co-Founder

Tim Quinn is the CEO and Co-Founder of ThingTech. He launched ThingTech in 2012, bringing over 20 years of experience building and deploying geo-spatial technologies for fleet and asset tracking. Tim is a high energy leader with a razor-sharp focus on providing technology solutions that combine real-time IoT data and operational data to produce prescriptive and predictive analytics. Prior to ThingTech, Tim served as an Executive Vice President at RouteMatch Software, where he was also a co-founder and led the sales, marketing, and business development teams. Tim holds undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Georgia and Georgia Tech.

Brian Corcoran – President

Brian Corcoran is President & Co-Founder of ThingTech. With over 12 years’ experience in the fleet tracking and mobile workforce management technology fields, he has personally designed, deployed, or managed over 250 GPS / AVL deployments in the U.S. and Canada, along with complementary technologies such as GIS-based Schedule and Route Optimization, mobile data computing, and advanced on-board vehicle logic units with integrated peripheral functionality. Previously, Brian served as Vice President at RouteMatch Software. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Furman University.

Vlad Mijatovic – CTO

Vlad Mijatovic is the Chief Technology Officer of ThingTech. Vlad oversees the technology strategy for ThingTech. He brings to the team more than 15 years’ experience in lead technical and management positions. In his previous role as VP Software Development of PGi Inc., Vlad was the architect and technical lead of iMeet, an innovative, next-generation conferencing platform. PGi, Inc. acquired the underlying technology for iMeet from Halcyon Worlds, Inc., where Vlad was a founder and CTO.

David Churchill – VP Technology

David Churchill is the Vice President Technology of ThingTech. He’s responsible for leading ThingTech’s product development, management and delivery. David has over 20 years’ experience creating and deploying transportation and logistics technology solutions, which includes implementing several 7-figure software deployments. Prior to his civilian career, David served honorably for 20 years in the U.S. Navy on submarines operating and supervising the operation of nuclear propulsion plants in Trident and fast-attack submarines. David holds a bachelor’s Degree from Chapman University.

Thomas Light is the Vice President—Finance and Operations of ThingTech. In this role, he’s responsible for leading ThingTech’s financial planning & analysis and accounting as well as capital raising, investor relations and human resources initiatives. Thomas brings nearly 10 years of experience in private equity, investment banking and capital raising. Prior to ThingTech, Thomas served as an Associate at MSouth Equity Partners, a middle-market private equity firm focused on business services, manufacturing and distribution investments. He also worked for Coca-Cola Bottling Consolidated Company and Cary Street Partners in the Investment Banking division. Thomas holds an M.B.A. from the Darden School of Business and a B.S. in Commerce from the University of Virginia.

Dan Hawkins is the Director—Sales & Marketing of ThingTech. Dan brings over 12 years’ experience as a highly efficient sales professional delivering enterprise software solutions sales and account management. He is responsible for all public and private sector sales, with customers ranging from Fortune 500 to large enterprise municipalities. Dan’s built up a solid track record in aligning organizations’ needs and challenges with appropriate technology solutions. Prior to ThingTech, Dan spent 5 years in sales management positions RouteMatch Software, Telogis, and Marketo, where he helped drive sales strategies through its $1.9B acquisition in 2017.

Doug Borse is the Chef Customer Officer of ThingTech. In this role, Doug is responsible for managing all aspects of the customer experience after the initial purchase. He oversees customer success for the company’s entire portfolio of customers. He directs a Service Delivery Team that facilitates product installation & configuration, training and change management, go-live, and project management. Prior to joining ThingTech, Doug was Vice President—Cloud Management of Cloud Sherpas (acquired by Accenture), where he managed all aspects of the customer experience after the initial go-live. Doug holds a bachelor’s Degree from Lehigh University.

Carly Harper is the Director, Customer Success of ThingTech. Carly has over six years of experience in the transit and technology industries.  She has served as a civil and transportation engineer for RouteMatch Software, and managed major technology deployments for the Department of Veterans Affairs and Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA).  She is a trained and qualified Civil Engineer with extensive structural and infrastructure assessment skills.  Carly brings a unique combination of technology, consulting, transit, and engineering skills that translate to a very strong asset management consultant. Carly holds a bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology.
